The trickiest sways to reading less and scoring very high

Reading-less-school-exam

Back then in school, I did not read much but I was often one of the best student academically, but very horrible at sports. To be one of the best, I had to simplify my objectives when it comes to reading. That is what I want of you; to simplify your objectives in a clear form to achieve your goal of scoring extremely high in any exams at all. Let me break this up for you

YOU HAVE TO WAKE UP EARLY

By waking up, I do not mean waking up from your bed. Rather, I mean realizing your objectives and taking actions early. If you do not realize that you have to read early, you would end up building pressure before examination or test which is often bad for academic practice. You have to start reading early. You can start with reading a page or two. But you must start very early.

OBTAIN AN EAGLE VIEW OF THAT LECTURE COURSE

If you want to read less than 30 minutes and still make an A, it is simple. All you need is an eagle eye view of that particular lecture course. You know how an eagle can see every single thing from afar up, that is exactly what I want from you; to see what that lecture course is all about.

HOW CAN YOU ACHIEVE THIS

1 Use past questions
2 Use the scheme of work
With the help of the past questions and scheme of work, you can flood every single useless information that are extraneous to that lecture course.

THIS IS HOW TO USE PAST QUESTIONS WITH A SCHEME OF WORK TO GET AN A

With the help of the scheme of work, you would know the entire topics which are likely to appear in an exam question. With the help of the past question, you would know which topic to treat negligible (not important) and those to give priority to.
Now your work load has been narrowed down

NARROW YOUR READING

After you must have demystified those important topics which happen to be frequently appearing in each year of the past questions, It is time to find out the very headings that are given priority to by the examiner, then you channel your energy to only those areas.

READ WITH STYLE

In reading less and still scoring more or like those who are spending more than 6 hours reading, you would need to read with style.

HOW TO READ WITH STYLE

1 Memorize on 2 - 3 lines in a single heading
2 Put your imagination to work
3 Try as much as possible to understand that 2 - 3 lines you would read from each headings and sub headings

CONVINCING WRITE-UP

Although, I am still schooling, but I have achieved a 4.69 CGPA on a 5.0 scale. How do you think I did this?  Through convincing write-up, I can make my lectures feel that I am putting in the necessary work I ought to put. By deeply understanding the 2-3 lines in the headings, I can develop my own write up in a convincing manner even without planning. This is no magic at all, all you need to do is understand the very little you read and you would be blasting A’s in no time.

BAD PRACTICES AND GOOD PRACTICES OF READING LESS

                                                                                      DO                                   DON'T
 Reading early
Reading only during exam and test periods

Reading selected areas in the text book and using past question as a guide
Reading only past questions or jotted notes
Reading less, understanding what you have read and composing convincing write ups from your understanding of what you have read
Going to an exam hall without reading with the hope of using your understanding and experiences to answer questions
Do not depend on others during a test or examination
Depending on others during a test or examination

CONCLUSION OF THIS GUIDE OF READING AND SCORING HIGH IN ANY EXAM

Reading less and scoring extremely high in an examination solely depends on your ability to narrow what you are reading to the content that are actually needed using guides, scheme of work, past questions etc. If you can narrow this down, read a little from these headings and sub headings while putting your imaginations and understanding to work. By putting your understanding and imaginations to work, you can be able to compose very convincing write-up that would force the examiners to award with an A or the least B.
