Jamb subject requirements to study engineering courses at the higher institution

The jamb subject requirement to study engineering in any higher institute of Nigeria would normally be; English language, physics, chemistry and mathematics.

These four subjects are the basic jamb requirement to gain admission into any engineering program in the higher institute.
Whether it be mechanical engineering or electrical electronics engineering, mechatronics engineering or industrial engineering these four subjects would remain the basic requirement to study engineering at the higher institutes found in Nigeria.

Jamb requirement to gain admission into an engineering program

·        Mathematics: Jamb presents 50 questions every year. Questions would arise from mathematics ss1-ss3 then little further mathematics questions would also be set to test your competency

·        Physics: Jamb presents 50 questions every year.

·        Chemistry: Jamb presents 50 questions every year

·        English language: jamb presents 100 questions every year.

Rigorous study is needed to be played on your part. Every single year the yard stick used to measure the score of jamb to gain admission into the university is being changed constantly.
Back then were the days, where one needed only 180 to gain admission, right now, 180 would struggle for admission into the least course and would hardly be granted admission.

Most universities require students to score a minimum of 250 and a maximum of anything above 250 to gain admission into a professional course.

My advice to you is that you should cling to your past questions and observe the pattern and frequency to which the questions are presented, support topics or questions which you may find vague privately using a text book as support and read consistently.
